M’èrvéchîn

Did you miss me? ;)

Does someone fancy telling the weather that it is actually June and not octobre? I got up to thick, grey drizzle this morning, and it has been cold, grey and wet since wednesday. Yesterday was the solctice, démîn, valet! The garden is lovely and green but come on... I need some sun to ripen my strawberries!

Yesterday was Father's day and I intended to knock out some drabbles on that theme. The Muse had other ideas. She took my quill away and handed me needle and thread so I shall have quilty things completed soon, which will be cool. : )

I'm sure there was something else... *thinks*

I know what you mean about the weather. I can't complain on my end though... It was too rainy and cold to climb pretty much everywhere this weekend except my favorite destination in the Southern Utah desert, Indian Creek. It's totally unheard of to be able to climb there on solstice weekend--usually it'd be baking hot! All the other climbers must have stayed away out of precedent, because we were the only car in the parking lot for most of Saturday. Had the place to ourselves. Perfectly mild weather.

I rolled back into town last night around midnight. I'm pondering your e-mail with much interest. And looking around my slightly untidy house, thinking it is not picture worthy at the moment. As soon as I get my thoughts together enough to respond coherently, I'll reply!

The poor boys suffered: Rain and hail above 10,000 ft as they went over a mountain pass and started descending. Lizzie's boyfriend managed to finish the race (his category started earlier). The Boy Wonder dropped out with his three teammates because of hypothermia. Apparently, they nearly shiver themselves off the bike when it's that cold and can barely pull the brakes, which doesn't go well with 30-50mph descending. Not for me, thanks. ; D

You're sweet to ask.
