Writer's Block: Starting Out Fresh

ieune[Error: unknown template qotd] I know this happens in the farming community, that they do a bit of everything to 'show their intentions', as it were but not that what happens on one day 'sets the tone' for the year.
How did I spend the day? Much the same as any other; preparing meals, cooking, washing up afterwards, washing clothes, taking them to and from the dryer, ironing, making beds etc, usw, and so forth. A few rounds of sock knitting, some quilting. Do I think it will influence the rest of the year. Not really. No decisions that will cause change were taken. I don't accept that reducing the lamb gravy to a burnt mess is significant simply because it happened on new year's day.
