This CD by Sting: Songs of love.
I'm hoping I just managed to get it through Amazon.com's marketplace. I want it for the studio version of 'I burn for you' that I heard as a live version on Youtube. 'You still touch me' is on there as well. *shivers*
That man has a talent for writing lyrics (aching, longing words) from the heart.

I just read that this w/e's full moon will be bigger and brighter than at any other time this year as it reaches perigee. Guess what weather I've got. Yup. Rain. Thick, thick cloud cover, and did I mention the rain?
Wonder how the moon's perigee/apogee affect werewolves. Interesting plot point to ponder...

21 Jun 2008 06:16 pmI have a New Toy; a digital camera. :D And I finally got to listen to my new cd; Coldplay: Viva la vida. I have 2 tracks stuck in my head already. lol Oo-Oo-there was one lyric and on first hearing I thought, 'Sirius!' but I can't remember what it was off the top of my head and I like to quote accurately. Later, then.
The weather forecasters got it right. I'tchait d'la plyie, which means it's raining, and despite man paraplyie, I returned siez-mé trempé coumme un vraitcheux (soaked!)
And now, I can hear roast chicken breast calling my name...

A rare tv related post
29 Mar 2008 07:52 pmI have a great partiality for the work of Antonio Vivaldi and have just watched the most amazing programme about his long association with the Pieta, in Venice.
Intriguingly called 'Vivaldi's Women
I'm now off to indulge in large chunks of baroque music, starting with 'Alla Rustica'. :D

Don't think, just do.
5 Apr 2007 10:44 amListening to Snow Patrol last night, the 'Hands Open' track and some of the lyrics strike me as James Potter all over.
'It's hard to argue when
You won't stop making sense
But my tongue still misbehaves
And it keeps digging my own grave
With my hands open
And my eyes open
I just keep hoping
That your heart opens
Why would I sabotage
The best thing I have
Well it makes it easier to know
Exactly what I want
It's not as easy as willing it all to be right
Got to be more than hoping it's right
I want to hear you laugh like you really mean it
Collapse into me tired with joy'
How am I going to stop those phrases sneaking in to the current one-shot when they're so apt?
