23 Feb 2008 05:14 pmWhen writing instructions for someone else to follow, never assume anything, unless it be 'more instructions are better' and 'a diagram is worth a 1000 words in *any* language' and 'if it can be misinterpreted, it will be.'
If you want the poor devil following your instructions to do things in an illogical order, explain why! Also, have your instructions, templates and placement guides 'beta-read' for accuracy and EASE OF USE. Anything else is just plain CRAZY-MAKING!
