The last one was an exercise in not being too explicit and yet making events clear. It depends on my mood whether it works for me.
The anemone symbol idea came out of pre-literate society markings. Marcus enjoys what he does and I try to convey that. I'm glad you find it comes across.
You think? Interesting. I should write out the perspective of the tattooists, then, for you to compare/contrast. It was suggested to me that it wasn't clear that Nape had transformed back, but I think it is. Might be me wanting it to be, mind. ;)
