P&Q: quilty progress!

Last night, I finished piecing The Table Runner With No Name. :D It's laid out on the floor to keep it flat. Today I shall cut the backing from the FQs remaining and get it layered up. It's longer than I expected. (Why yes, I did wing it and not calculate the finished size before I started cutting. :P)

With the end in sight (lol) I turned my attention to another 'unfinished synphony': my Ferris Wheels table topper.

I realised I stalled on this one because I 'knew' I didn't have enough of the small blue square fabric to finish it. (Why did I only buy fat eighths??) However, I now know the fabric range is Moda 'cowboy rose'. :) I checked the website I bought it from way back and lo! they have some small blue square fabric. I have sent for a fat quarter and a few other bits that caught my eye so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it matches. :)

And now I'm away to shower, dress and set the breadmaker going, but not neccesarily in that order!
