Socks

Several months ago I made a mistake in knitting my second sock and it has languished in my knitting bag ever since. I knew I had several rounds to unknit; a horrid task, and I put it off, and off.

On xmas eve, though, new temptations arrived in the form of Colinette Jitterbug

and I determined that the lingering sock had to be brought to an honourable a wearable conclusion. Between cooking like a house elf the last few days, I unknitted the wrong rounds and am now shaping the instep. With a bit of luck, I shall have new socks for the first of January. :)
